Photo Challenge Day Six: Childhood Memory

I had about five or six Care Bears and Care Bear Cousins while I was growing up.  Plus, I got to play with my sisters' Care Bears since I was the youngest.  But my favorite by far was always Funshine Bear!  It was the first one that I got when I was one or two years old and it was always super special to me.  I have kept my original Funshine Bear in a safe place with a few other childhood items so that I can show my kids when they are old enough to appreciate it. 

I LOVE that my girls are into Care Bears now.  I wish they watched the original 80's movies and episodes, since the new ones just aren't the same.  They are still cute, but don't have Dark Heart, Cold Heart or Beastly.  And I will never forgive the producers of the new show for changing Funshine into a boy!  What the transgender Care Bear?  I was so mad when I saw that!  Funshine is a girl!  And her boyfriend was Brave Heart Lion!  Don't they know this?!  Couldn't they read my four-year-old mind?

Here is a pic of me with my cute Funshine Bear.  I think I was two or three years old.  I still have the blanket that my Mom made, too!  Love it!
